What makes BRIMSTONE Different
Brimstone is smoked with sunbaked Texas scrub oak using our own secret process. This makes for a rich, distinctive whisky, full of character and fresh, youthful corn and light fruit notes married with a bold smokiness.
Our proprietary process—alongside our extended fermentation, dedication to double-batch copper pot still distillation, meticulous blending process and diligent attention to detail at every step—has led to this celebrated whisky.

ON THE NOSE, Brimstone showcases confectioners' sugar, corn husk, BBQ pit, stone fruit and graham crackers.
ON THE PALATE, there is rich candied smoke, English pipe tobacco, orange marmalade, sweet tea and chili peppers. The experience ends with a long dry finish, with herbal notes dissipating as the smoke returns.

Cocktail Recipe
Espresso Martini
A smoky cocktail that pairs well with good company and a warm fire. Brimstone adds a deep and rich flavor to the traditional espresso martini.
INGREDIENTS
- ¾ oz Balcones Brimstone Smoked Whisky
- ½ oz Mr Black Coffee Liqueur
- ½ oz Vanilla Syrup
- ¾ oz Cold Brew
- Chocolate-covered Espresso Beans
METHOD
Add all ingredients to a cocktail tin and shake with ice. Strain into a coupe. Let settle for a moment, then garnish with 3 chocolate-covered espresso beans in a small triangular formation.
