TEXAS 1SINGLE MALT WHISKY

When we created Texas 1, we didn't set out to start a movement. We just wanted to pioneer a new way to distill the spirit we loved. We started with a traditional single malt approach to process and ingredients but with a more virgin oak profile to bring something new to what has become known as American Single Malts. And along the way, we found our purpose – to be a leader in this burgeoning category.

Tasting Notes

TIMELESS MEETS TEXAS

Rich with a long finish, Texas 1 opens up conversation by overwhelming your senses - in the best way. Opening aromas bear hints of toffee and overripe fruits. On the palate, layers of toasted malt and honey give way to mellow notes of baked pears and apples. A long finish is accompanied by cinnamon and cloves.

nose

Ripe, buttered stone fruit, banana and pears; honey and rose water with delicate citrus accents

taste

Silky and full on the palate; lightly toasted bread with fresh butter and marmalade

finish

Long finish with lingering toast and burnt sugar notes morphing into rich malt and wood flavors with counterbalancing acidity

As we began making Texas 1,we didn’t realize we’d discover thepath of our distillery along the way.
What started as a goal to make a single maltin the traditional style we loved became apurpose to help lead the way for AmericanSingle Malt to become an official designation.
We believe this homegrown spirit deserved

of amazing distilleries, we co-founded the
